Unequal to the perennial problems seen in the Aliens "and" AVP-R "Warriors Alien Hot Toys, the Alien Dog is obviously well-endowed. Over the over four decades, Mike Dodd has peered across the sand at the greatest strand volleyball players the relaxation has ever seen.

But when Dodd – an Olympic musical medalist in his own just – was named commissioner of the Cooperative of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) in February, he changed his convergence from the spikes and blocks at the net to something much deeper – the blow the gaff roots of the frisk.

“One of my missions at AVP, and it’s such a contrary restraint, is one of reaching out,” Dodd said. “There are multiple grassroots organizations such as the CBVA (California Coast Volleyball Friendship) and AAU (Amateur Athletic Togetherness). Creating a public ranking system where a Triple-A Thespian will be worthy of points the same as (AVP stars) Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers is a way to amalgamate the volleyball just ecstatic. That’s something we (AVP) have never tapped into. We were always momentous at producing elite events for the very most superbly athletes, but there was so much wealthy on at the grassroots constant for people who in effect loved volleyball and in a way the AVP wasn’t shunning, but wasn’t embracing either. We’ll m to raise seashore volleyball at the tad storey and USA Volleyball (USAV) to have fantastic communication with them.”
