Na de aankondiging van een party-based third person shooter titel in het Resident Evil imperium werd er snel vreemd opgekeken. Opnieuw zou dit geen terugkeer naar de roots betekenen, maar zoals ik al eerder zei maakt dit niet uit. De elementen uit de serie zitten erin, maar waar Manoeuvring Raccoon City zich zal onderscheiden van de andere Resident Evil titels is simpel. Een 4-speler (Wellicht zelfs zes!) co-op storyline om door te knallen als één van de dodelijke Protection special forces zal veel knalactie beloven, want elk teamlid zal een aparte "kracht" bezitten. Hierbij kun je denken aan cloaking en very firepower om maar wat te noemen.
Maar een zombie game zou geen zombie design zijn als je niet zelf in een ondood schepsel kon veranderen. Het kan namelijk voorkomen dat je flink gebeten wordt door een zombie, waarna je drie keuzes krijgt. Genees jezelf of laat je teamgenoten je genezen. Maar de grappigste is natuurlijk niets doen en in een zombie veranderen.
