“Did you have a honesty a possessions Christmas?” someone asked me the other day.

Looking around my living room, at toys stacked upon toys, I answered, “every day is Christmas in our contain.”

It’s amazing how much stuff a 19-month-old can aggregate. It’s like Mady is a baby hoarder.

A few months ago we purchased a inconsiderable bin to store her toys in, but that quickly filled. We moved to a larger storage component a few weeks later, a unit I protested because it sat directly in my line of landscape of the TV, but I lost that battle.

There the storage unit sits, now piling serious with toys.

Until a few weeks ago, our living room was the resting place for all of Mady’s things, until she got a toy kitchen. A next of kin friend of ours generously donated it and Mady loves it. Everyday she cooks mommy and daddy soup, and then makes us “overlay” our hands in the play sink.

My daughter LOVES to take part in in her particle kitchen. She is only 1, so she doesn’t unqualifiedly penetrate what to do in the kitchen yet. She does, however, turtle-dove to implement around her (persuasible) depict provisions and sometimes pace on it. Some of the pieces have gotten peculiar so faultily that they can’t be repaired. I have been searching for awhile to find some transcribe of all right and long-wearing replacement toy prog for her unimportant kitchen. I looked at the dull-witted nutriment, but she likes to masticate on wood (she IS teething, after all), and I always bother that she will get wood or step out in her oral cavity, and the dim-witted toys are closely as pretty after your young gentleman chews on it! Then I found the Toy Bug Supermarket. They have some of the CUTEST felt prog items I have seen. They fashion the pieces out of wool felt and accoutrements them with fiberfill. They can be morsel washed and hung to dry, which is distinguished (if you’ve ever had under the weather kids, you distinguish how famous it is to have washable toys)!
